Psychosocial predictors of emotional eating among Thai nurses: A cross-sectional study

Highlights:

• This study examined psychosocial factors associated with emotional eating behaviors among Thai nurses

• The findings revealed that burnout—particularly client-related burnout—along with depression and anxiety, were significant predictors of emotional eating

• These results support the development of targeted interventions aimed at reducing psychosocial risk factors, especially burnout, anxiety, and depression, to promote the well-being of professional nurses
