“This longitudinal study explored how work stress, conceptualized through the Demand–Control–Support model, influences stroke prognosis among Thai workers. The findings revealed that workplace social support plays a significant role in disability outcomes after stroke. The study highlights the critical need for interventions that foster supportive work environments to improve recovery and long-term outcomes, especially in resource-restrictive settings.”
