“Repeat adolescent pregnancy in an urban community in Bangkok remains a persistent problem, driven by social vulnerability, limited family and community support, and inadequate life and negotiation skills. Although adolescents have basic contraceptive knowledge, overall health literacy for preventing repeat pregnancy is low. An integrated prevention approach, grounded in health literacy and the Ottawa Charter, was developed to strengthen community support, create youth-friendly environments, and build personal skills, aiming to reduce repeat adolescent pregnancy sustainably.”
