\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 Nursing Student Venus Jitsakul Represents Thailand at the Global Nursing Stage \u2013 ICN Congress 2025 in Finland \ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddee
Ms. Venus Jitsakul, a second-year nursing student (International Program) from the Princess Agrarajakumari Faculty of Nursing, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, was selected to represent Thai nursing students at the ICN Congress 2025, held from 8\u201313 June 2025 in Helsinki, Finland.
She participated in the Student Assembly, where over 70 countries were represented. She actively engaged in policy discussions on burnout and mental health in nursing students, the student-to-professional transition, diversity and equity in healthcare, safety of nurses in conflict zones, and health workforce migration and its implications.
\ud83d\udcac Ms. Venus reflected:
\u201cAttending the ICN Congress 2025 and participating in the Student Assembly has been truly eye-opening. I learned that nurses play a powerful role not only in patient care, but also in shaping policy and contributing to global health discussions. I realized that the voices of students \u2014 including mine \u2014 can contribute to meaningful change.
This experience has helped me clarify the path I want to pursue in both academia and my societal role as a future nurse. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity, and I hope to use what I\u2019ve learned to grow into a nurse who makes a difference \u2014 in Thailand and beyond.\u201d<\/p>

She participated in the Student Assembly, where over 70 countries were represented. She actively engaged in policy discussions on burnout and mental health in nursing students, the student-to-professional transition, diversity and equity in healthcare, safety of nurses in conflict zones, and health workforce migration and its implications. \ud83d\udcac Ms. Venus reflected: \u201cAttending the ICN Congress 2025 and participating in the Student Assembly has been truly eye-opening. I learned that nurses play a powerful role not only in patient care, but also in shaping policy and contributing to global health discussions.
